Section titled “Is DomChekr free?”Yes, there is a free tier that allows monitoring up to 5 domains with a 24-hour check interval. Paid plans unlock more domains, faster intervals, and priority support.
How accurate are the availability results?
Section titled “How accurate are the availability results?”DomChekr queries official WHOIS servers and registrar APIs. Results are as accurate as those sources allow. In rare cases, a domain may appear available for a few minutes before WHOIS propagates a new registration.
Can I register a domain directly through DomChekr?
Section titled “Can I register a domain directly through DomChekr?”Not at the moment. DomChekr is a monitoring tool — it alerts you when a domain is available, and you then register it through the registrar of your choice.
Account & billing
Section titled “Account & billing”How do I upgrade my plan?
Section titled “How do I upgrade my plan?”Go to Settings → Billing and select the plan you want. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated.
Can I cancel at any time?
Section titled “Can I cancel at any time?”Yes. You can cancel your subscription from Settings → Billing at any time. Your account reverts to the free tier at the end of the current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?

Monitoring
Section titled “Monitoring”Why did I miss a domain that dropped?
Section titled “Why did I miss a domain that dropped?”The most common reasons are:
- Your check interval was too infrequent — consider upgrading to a faster plan.
- The domain was registered by a drop-catching service within seconds of becoming available.
- The WHOIS server had a delay in reflecting the new status.
Can I monitor a domain I don’t own?
Section titled “Can I monitor a domain I don’t own?”Yes. You can monitor any domain, regardless of who owns it. This is useful for tracking competitor domains or names you want to acquire in the future.
What happens to my watchlist if I downgrade?
Section titled “What happens to my watchlist if I downgrade?”If you exceed the free tier limit (5 domains) when downgrading, the oldest domains are paused automatically. You can reactivate them by removing other domains.
