Notification channels
Section titled “Notification channels”DomChekr can notify you through multiple channels when a domain status changes.
The default channel. Every account starts with the signup email address as the notification target. You can add additional email addresses under Settings → Notifications.
Webhooks
Section titled “Webhooks”Send a real-time HTTP POST request to any URL when a domain becomes available. This lets you integrate DomChekr with:
- Slack — Post a message to a channel using a Slack incoming webhook URL.
- Discord — Use a Discord webhook to notify your server.
- Custom endpoints — Trigger any automation in your own backend.
See the Webhooks developer guide for the full payload reference.
Alert conditions
Section titled “Alert conditions”You can configure which status transitions trigger an alert:
| Event | Default |
|---|---|
| Domain becomes available | ✅ On |
| Domain registered (no longer available) | ❌ Off |
| Domain expiring soon (≤ 30 days) | ✅ On |
| Domain enters pending delete | ✅ On |
Toggle these per-domain from the watchlist detail view, or globally from Settings → Alert preferences.
Check intervals
Section titled “Check intervals”| Plan | Interval |
|---|---|
| Free | Every 24 hours |
| Pro | Every 1 hour |
| Business | Every 5 minutes |
Higher-frequency checks increase the chance of catching a domain the moment it drops. For highly sought-after names, we recommend the Business plan.
Notification limits
Section titled “Notification limits”To protect against spam, DomChekr will not send more than one alert per domain per check interval. If a domain fluctuates between statuses rapidly, you will receive only the first transition alert until the next interval.
